  1. It is the similar scam with a different government.

    My 2 cents.

  2. WHAT HAPPENED TO CHINA WAS A EARTHQUAKE AND AFTER SHOCKS, NOT GLOBAL WARMING, BUT GLOBAL WARMING'S CAUSE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING MAN MADE.

  3. At present, the US has the highest greenhouse gas emissions per person of any country in the world. Having said that, people are starting to take notice of the problem (disasters like hurricane Katrina have brought home how serious the threat is), and so there is growing pressure on industry and politicians to keep emissions under control.

On the other hand, China shows almost no restraint with respect to increasing CO2 emissions. Their current policy is basically to build coal-fired power plants until they run out of coal. Their economy is also growing very quickly, and they are therefore increasing their emissions levels very quickly too. Despite this, however, the average Chinese person is responsible for less than one quarter of the emissions of the average person in the US.

Recently, the Bush administration has been using China as an excuse for their lack of good policy on climate change, basically saying that until China gets its act under control, we won't. This is flawed thinking, however, because the only way to put pressure on other people and governments is to hold up an example to them in the first place. This would be easy to do in the US, and would lead to economic growth and job creation as the new technologies were unrolled. But because the current administration is basically owned by the oil companies, this won't happen.

  4. ahhhhh sooooo

    similarities

    paint da fence

    sand da floor

    wax on

    wax off

all are Chinese proverbs for bull plop

which Confucius say bull plop is synonym for global warming

  5. The main difference is that China is ignoring it and building new coal-fired electric plants and automobiles at a rapid pace.

Unlike the U.S. nobody told them they needed to change their lifestyle because they were causing global warming.

  6. the globe is much cooler in china...

no politicians are getting paid to take the temperature
