  1. Acute: something that happens in a short period of time, or a new symptom

    Chronic: something that has been going on for a long time

    Severe: just as it sounds, someting significant, bad, worrysome

    SEVERE- usually indicates intensity of the condition commonly pain/cough/headache However it is also used synonimously wit ACUTE

    ACUTE- Refers to duration of symptoms which is short. It may appear, change or worsen rapidly.

    CHRONIC- Duration or course of illness/symp is continous or prolonged.It takes longer to heal

  4. Severe- really bad

    Acute- ONly lasting so long (like acute brohncitis it only lasts a little while or a cold thats acute)

    Crhonic- Lasts forever ans will NEVER go away ( like me i have cystic fibrosis asthma and crhonic bacterial lung infections thease will all never go away i i will have them for my entire life)
