What are the differences between Gin Rummy and Rummy 500?

I played Rummy 500 many times, so I know that one at the back of my hands.

Gin is where you have 10 cards and you hold them until you get all your suits and put all of them down at the same time to win and you can only draw from the deck or the top  card of the discards. Rummy, well you know that game as you have stated.
