  2. The senate never approved the treaty with the US entering the league of Nations. That died when Wilson had a heart attack.

  3. A lot of Wilson's 14 points were accept in Europe but not in the US. Wilson supported the League of Nations, which is most comparable to the United Nations today. But the US didn't want to become involved with world politics after WWI, or at least Congress didn't. Wilson wanted teh US to take an active role in policing the world, which is what we are doing today.

  4. Wilson had his 14 pt. plan... ya know he wanted all those things for peace to protect democracy.. + the league of nations

    the treaty of versailles that the democratic senate approved to end WWI was way harsh on germany, etc.. and bred another world war. not what wilson had in mind in his 14 pts
