  1. 4 cyl saves on gas but as with a 6 it takes more gas but has more pick up then a 4cyl and an 8 cly with gas prices u dont want  that lol i have a 2005 satruon ion thats a 4cyl awsome car if u are looking i get 300miles per tank.

  2. 2 cylinders.(I was a math major).

  3. The cylinder is where gas/petrol or diesel is burned.  A 4 cyl engine compared to a 6 cyl will burn less fuel because it has 2 less cylinders.  However, there will be less horsepower in a 4 cyl than a 6 cyl.

  4. 4 cylinder will give you more fuel economy, where as a 6 cylinder engine will give you more power (due to the 2 more cylinders), but less fuel economy. If you want a good traveling car I would go with the 4 cylinder, for a little more power, and a more of a sporty feel, go with the 6 cylinder. But if you want alot of power, and bad fuel economy, you can go with an 8 cylinder(Trucks, sports cars). And if you are a racer, and a millionaire, get a Bugatti with a 16 cylinder engine.
