  1. Cover-up is a "concealer" - this product comes in powder form and cream form; you only use this for blemishes, dark spots on your skin, and/or the undereye area.

A tinted moisturizer is just what it implies - it's a foundation - a way to even out your skin-tone + it has a moisturizer in it - it glides on easier and is a more natural dewy look - you would want to go this route if you are younger and/or have fairly clear skin - it's a "light" coverage.

Foundation comes in cream forms and powder forms (and even in sprays!) - this is what you apply as your make-up base (you chose the one that best matches your skin color) - and apply all over your face - this evens out your skin tone, hides redness and uneveness - once again, there are all different ranges of coverage.  If you are very young or have a clear face, you would want to go with a very light liquid or mineral (powder) foundation.

This order is typically recommended in appying make-up:  moisturizer, concealer, and then foundation - and then powder in a tone to match your skin color to "set" the foundation (unless you use a mineral/powder) foundation.

    Good Luck!

  2. Foundation goes on heavier than the others and if too much is put on- it's cakey and almost feels like a mask.

Tinted Moisturizer goes on just like any cream or lotion used for the face, except it has a slight tint of color, as opposed to the white lotion.

Coverup is concealer. This is used to cover or disguise problem spots like, pimples, freckles, scars, under eye circles, etc.

  3. tinted moisturizer: doesnt give you as much coverage, good for your skin because it has a moisturizer in it. best for dry skin

foundation: the basic term for make up that you use all over your face to cover up imperfections

cover up: different from foundation, instead of using it all over your face you just use it on certain spots, for example you would put a little bit on your pimple and then use the foundation over it.

powder: foundation in a powder-like form, good for oily skin

liquid: not entirely liquid, but foundation that you can spread using your finger that is more liquidy than other types of foundation

  4. go into one of your big departmnet stores and book some time with a make-up consultant usually only have to buy a product ie lipstick and the session is free .  The body shop is good for that too then they can explain it all to you and show you what suits you best and how to apply the latest trend of makeup - make up styles change too

  5. foundation.

for the whole face it even your skin tone.

tinted moisturizer is for when you want to go a bit more tan. it moisturizes and deepens your color.

coverup is usually for specific spots on your face, like pimples.

  6. Foundation-evens skin tone, coverage for impurities

Tinted moisturizer- Has a small bit of color in it to give you a glow, cover up small tiny pimples, and moisturize your face ( would not recommend to cover up pimples)

    Coverup- same as foundation
