What are the differences between the First, Second, and Third Waves of feminism?

I recently heard about these "waves" and was just wondering what the primary difference is between them. Is it the whole radical feminism versus the more moderate equality for all type?

First and second wave feminists regret what they did while third wave feminists are pushing civilization off a cliff.

        Third wavers try to say it is a man's world because in real life action=reaction. Things have consequence. They have children but don't want to bear the cost of it so they force others to cover child care costs, and child rearing costs because of a personnel decision and lack of responsibility.

        I really don't see anything male oriented about the fact the "real world" requires hard work,honor, integrity.

     Something most feminists lack.

But the whole thing about male hostility towards females probably comes from the fact that women have cornered men.

   There are no all male Establishments left. Yet there are hundreds of all girl schools,colleges,business's and clubs across the country. Until this form of blatant sexist tolerance of female only organization is ended or until males are allowed similar all male institutions(with same level of federal and state funding) hostility is to be expected and perhaps even acceptable given the nature of American laws and Judicial system.

BTW In order to prevent feminists to rewrite history first wave feminists where female supremacist see the woman's klu klux klan.

     When they say first wave they are referring to the WKKK.

Liberal's and feminists hide that fact hence the reason yahoo didnt see fit to add it to there spell check even though in the early 1900's congressional hearings revealed the fact that the WKKK  CONTROLLED the KKK during that era and was in a large part responcible for most of the violence.

First Wave:  Women organizing to get the right to vote = The 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Second Wave: Women confront sexual discrimination and bigotry as individuals = Title IX (the right to equal educational access), the right to be paid equal wages (Equal Pay Act), the right to use birth control and have a medically safe abortion (Roe vs. Wade), the right to equal job opportunities, the right to use credit cards, etc.  The going is tough.  Women are raped and harassed when they first enter previously "male-only" occupations.  Discriminations and bigotries persist, such as a college paper with a male name getting a full grade better than the same paper submitted with a female name.  Women are viciously told, "Ok, sweetheart, ya wanna be a MAN?"  Then, they proceeded to make it as difficult as possible in every way for women in jobs and academia when women began to enter previously "male-only" fields of studies.   "Pro-Family" and misogynistic forces utterly screeched that women MUST act like men if they want to be in a "man's world".  Affirmative action for Blacks and women begins with LBJ era due to crushing tax-payer costs of poverty caused by those "subtle" discriminations and bigotries.  Affirmative action worked.

Third Wave:  Women are reconciling their right to be self-determining, educated, employed and self-sufficient FEMALE human beings with society's "male-only" acculturations and social structures.  Third wave feminism is concerned about not IF a woman should work but about "How do we organize to change society to pay for quality childcare for all working women?", for example.  Now we're re-structuring society to better suit not only "male-only" needs and visions but also our own.  Third Wave isn't about how to fit into a "man's world" any longer.   It's about making sure it's never just a "man's world" again.

Third wave feminism started with Rebecca Walker, the daughter of the famous author Alice Walker.
