What are the differences between the iPod nano 1st and 2nd generation? how can i tell if mines is 1st or 2nd?

It all depends on when you bought it. I'm sure there is an apple support site mention of this. But in general, the older ones had more of a boxey look to its edges, while the second gen ones had more rounded edges. I hope this helps.
