  1. Well, India definitely has more arable land than the U.S. They grow more there, whereas in the U.S., we import a c**p load of stuff. Also a reminder: India is 56% arable land.

  2. farms in india are really small.in USA the farms stretch for acres! in india farms r irrigated by a chanal or a well.......there is a least chance of crop rotation....not much implements in india whereas in USA they use harvestors, seed drill, etc

  3. India has a tropical climate and USA has temperate climate.Accordingly crop cultivated in India and USA is different.Paddy is main crop in India where as Maize and Wheat  main crop in USA.USA agriculture is most advanced after Australia than India. However India has more cultivated land than USA.Indian soil also more productive than USA.

  4. India's agriculture is changing rapidly, becoming more mechanized.  They are a lot more self sufficient than in the past, but there is still a lot of subsidence farming by hand or oxen.  Overall I would put India's agriculture ten or twenty years behind that in the US.  The first answerer needs to find a new social studies book.  The main export is agriculture products in the US. A look at a good geography book wouldn't hurt either.

  5. India- Curry crops

    Usa- Fufu

  6. In INDIA SEASONAL FARMING IS CARRIED DOWN BUT  WHEREAS IN U.S.A INTENSIVE FARMING IS FOLLOWED
