Can you get some form of jet lag traveling by car through time zones? Why or why not?

  1. By car the change is only an hour at a time since it takes a while to pass to the next time zone.  This is not too noticeable.  If you go by jet you can cross several time zones in as many hours and this can be much more noticeable.  Suddenly you have been in the air for 8 hours and the local time is 6-8 hours ahead of your body clock...


  2. When I travel, I have to gradually adjust my sleeping habits to that city's.  Then, when I travel back home, I have odd sleeping habits again.  Other than that, there's nothing..

  3. Well sure.  Different time zones, different stress on body and longer periods of staying alert.
