historians generally differ on points like these.

An example would be the traditionalist, revisionist and counter revisionist views regarding appeasement at the cause of WWII. So, what would be the different views regarding FDR's new deal?

I am sure there are thousands of differing opinions on this subject, but I just mean general main ones.

Thanks Y!A

  1. basically his policies were weaker than his legs

  2. It is interesting that the average person who was alive during his

terms in office especially the blacks revered him as no other president before or since. However the rich hated him for being a 'traitor to

his class' ie he didn't give them all the perks and benefits they thought they deserved. Today it depends on whether you have a right wing or left wing historian. I totally disagree with the previous poster and think he was one of our great presidents.
