  3. As autism is on a spectrum everyone who has autism will be very different to each other. Therefore what works for one person will not work for another. You have to manage your child in the way that is best for them. My daughter cannot manage social situations so I know to avoid them. What ever triggers bad behaviour is best avoided and if it does happen the best thing to do is to keep calm.

  4. Autism is a 'spectrum disorder.' - This means that a child at one end of the 'spectrum,' will experience a totally different set of problems than a child at the other end of the spectrum.  So, a management technique, which would be appropriate for one child would be inappropriate for the next.

  6. Usually most schools will have an autism library where you can check out books and have people recommend them to you.  this is always a good choice, many books cover behavior management.
