like what does Vitamin A good for and whatever?

and like what foods give it to you?

Like I know Vitamin C, u can get from fruits

and it gives a a whiter complextion.

  1. Fat Soluble vitamins:

    Vit A: necessary for proper eyesight, tissue growth, and immune function.  

    Sources:Retinol- cod liver oil, liver, butter, Beta carotene-orange and dark green fruits and vegetables

    Vit D: necessary for calcium absorption, and calcification/mineralization of bones.  

    Sources: sunshine, egg yolk, fish, liver, fortified dairy

    Vit E: hormone production, powerful antioxidant

    Sources: wheat germ, peanuts, dark leafy greens, whole grains, egg yolk

    Vit K: helps blood clotting

    Sources:intestinal bacteria, asparagus, alfalfa

    Water Soluable

    B vitamins: act as metabolic coenzymes in the body, having hundreds of functions, including blood cell formation and nerve function.

    Sources: whole grains, meats, brewer's yeast, miso, fortified cereals, leafy green veg, avocado, and nuts

    Vit C: Collagen formation, immune function, antioxidant

    Sources: citrus fruit, strawberries, peppers, tomatoes, papaya and potatoes


  2. Opinions differ.  Vitamin A is found in many vegetables, and is good for vision, among other things.  Of the B vitamins, B1, B2, B3, B6, and B12 have been generally recognized as useful.  Vitamin C prevents a deficiency disease called scurvy; it is found in citrus fruits.  Vitamin D is produced by sunlight, and is often added to milk.  Other vitamins have been named, but not universally recognized as useful.
