  1. There are many different types of archery targets.

NFAA has their own set of targets

    FITA/NAA has another set.

    I'm most familiar with the FITA/NAA targets.  There are 4 different sizes, 40cm, 60cm, 80cm and 122cm.

They're used based on distance.  The 40cm and 60cm faces are used for indoor distances, 18 and 25m respectively.

The 80 and 122cm targets are used for outdoor distances.

The 80cm is used for 30 and 50m.  The 122cm for Women is for 60 and 70m, and for men it's for 70 and 90m.

The measurements of these faces are the diameter of the circle, with a bit of white space on the sides.  The 122cm target for instance is printed on a square piece of paper 125cmx125cm.

  2. The actual target varies from target to target but there are official target faces such as FITA the main target being 80CM or something close to that. Hope this helps you can buy FITA target faces for a couple of cents at you local archery shop

  3. check this web site link: http://www.sizes.com/sports/archery_targ...

  4. There are targets for the "York Round", the "Olympic" competitions, "Field Archery", etc.

Exactly which target are you asking about?
