  1. They are pretty good actually, comfortable and good hearing.

They usually bring awesome exchangeable parts as well for better sound definition when listening.

As an inexpensive option, rappaports are definetly the best one.

Its like saying would you rather go for a mercedes or a ferrari, they are both excellent cars, the quality is the difference, but they will both take you wherever you need to go ;)

  2. I dont like them ... you get what you pay for ... the diaphragms are not the bets in the world ... and they are heavy.

I prefer the littman ..... it hold up well ... and they will refurbish it for you ... I have had my Cardiology II for 15 years ....

  3. They are heavy, and the tubes bang together.

But they are solidly built and less expensive than Littmans.

  4. They've been my choice for over thirty years. Especially since they can be had for cheap.

Some people object to the dual tubes in that they'll rub against each other. I've never seen that as a problem. You have binaural hearing, a good diaphragm, a good bell, interchangeable sizes of both, and generally everything you'll ever need. If you get one in the $20 range, you won't be heartbroken when (and it is when, not if) the thing walks off.
