  1. well if there is a revolt

    your screwed

i would rather be a duke or an earl

i would like to be a king

    to much responsiblities

if i was inline for the throne i would refuse it and give it to my cousin

but if i was inline, it would take years for me to be it,

alot of soon-to-be kings, have to wait ages to be king

like prince andrew, duke of york, he is in his late 40s, and is the 4th inline to the throne of the united kingdom

thee first is prince charles, the queens son, then his son, prince william, then his brother prince edward hus in their 20s

and then its prince andrew, prince charles' brother, hu will probably be dead, by the time his nephew will die.

pluss you get to rule **** all, unless you own your own country

i mean, only 1 monarch, literally owns his country, the sultan of thailand

  2. Kings seldom survive when a revolution occurs and the kingdom changes hands.

  3. It depends what kind of king you mean. You have absolute monarchs who have real power and you have constitutional monarchs like in England where they are limited largely to a ceremonial and advisory capacity.

  4. I heard it's a really sucky job. Look at Prince Charles for instance - dude hasn't smiled in decades.

  5. lots of hard work looking after the citizens of the place, and making reasonable decisions.

  6. i am the king of the sands in the sand box i rule my kingdom and i boss around anyone i want.... >:) oh yah! and if they dont listen....the back of my hand is a very good nagotiator...>:(

  7. YOU BECOME A SLAVE TO THE KINGDOM

YOU HAVE TO OBEY SO MANY ADVISORS

YOU HAVE TO TAKE PERMISSION FROM SECURITY PEOPLE WHEN MEETING YOUR WIFE FOR A NICE ENCOUNTER

YOU CANNOT ROAM ON THE STREETS LIKE A GENERAL COMMON MAN

YOU CANNOT ENJOY THINGS THAT MOST OF US ENJOY.

    AND THE MOST

YOU AND YOUR LIFE ARE ALWAYS AT RISK !!!!!!

  8. No vote.

    No privacy.

    Weight of Expectation.

Start to think everything smells of fresh paint.

Can't enter the Chamber of the House of Commons.

Ultimate authority on the understanding you don't use it.

Having to be polite to unspeakably aweful Heads of State.

Responsibility of embodying all of the virtues, and none of the vices about your country.

If your Government authorises a War, and it's not a just War, your name is on the orders.

All the authority, none of the power. Whatever you personally believe, you must remain above politics.

  9. It depends on the Kingdom.

If its Saudi Arabia, absolutely none whatsoever, if its Buckhingham palace, you are basically an expensive decoration that every member of the palace's staff goes out of their way to take care of.

  10. I would say the biggest disadvantage would be that you could never experience your kingdom.

You would rule from your palace and never have the chance to walk down the street and waste time.

I feel sorry for the Members of the Royal family, in their whole lives they have never been left alone. They have to have security with them where ever they go and its not like they even had a choice whether they wanted the life they have or not.

  11. you have to grow up w/a book glued to your nose.

can't go to walk down the street and look at the clouds.

ppl just use u for your worldly status and cash

your not allowed to develop your REAL personality because your expected to "mold" to all kinds of expectations.

So the real you is dormant for so long, u never really know too much about the 'authentic you'.

Most likely your parent[s]--atleast one of them is stone cold hearted,so you end up feeling closer to the cook, maid or chauffeur. [not so bad really, but bet they miss being close to their parents].

    Too much pressure

They probably have to get lifetime therapy to deal w/this unusual predestined life style
