  1. Also not mentiioned,

It takes a lot of energy to mine the raw material for this, so it is not carbon free.

  2. Try these two for a start:

    1.  It is not possible to make nuclear power generation a profitable enterprise.  It just costs too much to build the plants, mine the fissionable materials, provide a semblance of safety, and operate the plants.  After they have worn out and have to be shut off, they continue to cost millions of dollars per year to run the cooling system to keep them from melting down.

    2.  They involve the most toxic substances known to man.  There is no way to make a nuclear plant safe.  Not even the greediest people can subject the whole world to that much danger.

There are plenty of other disadvantages, but those two explain why the industry quit building them.  Should be enough.

  3. the major disadvantage of nuclear power is its byproduct disposal. and there is hazards of ray radiation from the materials used.

  4. 1.  Nuclear waste

    2.  Susceptible to terrorist strikes

    3.  Accidental discharge of radioactive fallout.

    4.  Possible proliferation of nuclear material that could be used as a dirty bomb or in a weapon.

    5.  Very expensive startup costs.
