DEED

Your name (or the name of the land trust that you own) on the last deed recorded at the county courthouse where the property is located.

You only need the deed, and clean title (no one else claiming part of the property), but that is a lack of documents, your only document is the deed.

.   Your deed is at the County Recorders Office.  That is why you never need to worry about "losing" your deed.  A copy is free.  A Certified Copy is $1.
