What are the duas for keeping fast and breaking fast (suhoor and iftaar?) + meaning?

Wa bi saumi gadin nawaytu min shahri ramadan = suhoor. What does it mean?

And I don't know the one for iftaar.

Gonna need to know as I'm fasting tomorrow for shab e barat (laylatul barat)

    It is Masnoon (Sunnah) to partake of Suhur (Sehri)...

    It is a means of attaining great blessings and Thawaab.

    It is Sunnat to make Iftaar immediately after sunset.

    Rasulullah(SAW) said: "People will remain prosperous as long as they hasten with Iftaar (i.e. they break their fast immediately at the time for Iftaar enters)."

    May all Muslim's fulfill the requirements of Saum. Ameen. INSHA'ALLAH(SWT).


  2. Du'a for Fasting

    When beginning the fast

    وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَّوَيْتَ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ

    Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri ramadan

    (I intend to keep the fast today in the month of Ramadan)

    When breaking the fast

    اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّى لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ امنْتُ وَ عَلى رِزْقِكَ اَفْطَرْتُ

    Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa 'ala rizq-ika aftarthu

    (O Allah!  I fasted for You and I believe in You and I break my fast with Your sustenance)[abu Dawud]

    ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَ ابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ، وَ ثَبَتَ الأجْرُ إنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

    dhahabadh-dhama'u wab-tallatil 'urūūqi, wa thabatal arju inshaAllah

    (The thrist is gone, the veins are moistened and the reward is confirmed, is Allah [Ta'ala] Wills)

    (aur main niaat (intend) kerti hoon k main mahe ramadan ka roza rakhti hoon

    (and as you gona fast in shabaan then you say wa bisawmi ghadin nawaeytu min shaher re shabaan)

    When breaking the fast

    اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّى لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ امنْتُ وَ عَلى رِزْقِكَ اَفْطَرْتُ

    Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa 'ala rizq-ika aftarth u

    Meaning

    aey allah mainey teray liaay hi roza rakha aur tu hi aajer dena wala hai aur main teray hi rizq say iftar kerti hoon
