  1. my mom is a preschool teacher and she honestly teaches kids to speak english.

    i live in an area where the punjabi population is high and majority of her kids go in not nowing a word in englsih and leave way better off then they were


  2. The teacher prepares the student, (and sometimes the parent), for learning in grade school. One Pre-School motto is "exposure but not mastery", meaning it is not essential for the student to learn everything you are teaching, but exposing them to it is the first step.  For example, learning that there are times for movement and times for sitting quietly.  Little ones sometimes can't sit for very long, but they can understand that this is a quiet time, and work towards sitting.  Also, parents need to learn basic school rules and that their child is important, but so are all the other kids in the class.

  3. There are lots of duties for a pre-k teacher. They also have helpers who help them do their work. They watch children, teach them songs, help them learn to do new things, play with them and they are a fantastic breed of a person.

  4. the duties are to do anything and everything that needs to be done in a classroom.  this includes, but is not limited to, teaching, cleaning, planning, abiding by all state and local laws are regulations, assisting children with every aspect of their day, parent conferences, staff development requirements for yourself and an assistant if you have one, talking with prospective parents and any and all paperwork required by the state, local agencies or your director.
