  1. why in the world are you drinking so much at 15?!!  not only is it incredibly stupid, your damaging your body while it's still growing.  it's not impossible to be an alcoholic at 15, though i wish you had better goals in your life than that.  but to answer your question, people who are truly alcoholic cannot go a day without a drink.  they usually need one first thing when they wake up.  they suffer terrible consequences (like losing a job, their license, their family, go to jail, etc.) and yet continue to drink, even though they know how bad it is.  they can drink large amounts of alcohol and still function "normally".  the shakiness and whatnot usually only comes after years of steady, hardcore drinking.

i'm 29 and i used to drink (legally) quite heavily.  everyday for about 10 months straight, so i understand where you are coming from.  but you are just too young to get mixed up in this.  do yourself a favor and DO NOT pick up a bottle again.  if you do it to impress your friends, get new friends.  if you do it because you feel dependence on it, then tell a trusted adult you need to talk to a counselor.  you're too young to throw your life in the gutter already.  good luck.

  2. hearing/voicing the words- "I can quit anytime I want to......"
