  1. Obviously no skill is needed. Look at Osama Obama, no platform no spine no experience but wants to win only on the black vote.

Voting for a guy because of his skin color is as bad as not voting for him for the same reason.

  2. THERE are no actual  educational requirements to run for the President, however most voters would expect at the very least a high school diploma.  A President must be able to read the laws he or she wishes to sign into law.

The best source is always the Constitution itself!

There was a question during the GOP primaries as to whether McCain was considered a "Natural Born Citizen" since he was born in Panama.  The Democrats said that they would accept him since he was a military child so the Republicans dropped it.

  3. except for the first part, lawyer x is correct. the first part of his answer reinforces my belief that all lawyers should be put in a boat taken to the middle of the ocean and sank. obviously, intelligence isn't high on the list of qualifications to be a lawyer either. just be able to name call someone.

  4. There ar no educational requirements.  And, as we've seen over the last 7+ years, no intelligence requirements either.

The requirements for president are in Article II, section 1 of the US Constitution:

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.

  5. No. Any American over 35, born in the uSA and does not have a felony can be President!

  6. Vice Pres. has to know someone who can read or write.President has to be able to either read or write. ;)

Present incumbents slipped under the net.
