Are magic mushrooms really that bad for you? What are the negative effects of that drug on your health?

  1. I had breakfast with shrooms and scrambled eggs on a canoe camping trip. I was so kool, especially when these 2 chicks pulled off their tops and went swimming.

  2. It depends on your perspective. I took some one night and had what some would call a "bad trip". I just really wanted to go outside and my friend wouldn't let me. I ended up freaking out and they took me to the hospital, but they didn't do anything. I basically just laid in a bed for two days and racked up a bill waiting for them to let me go home. Of course, the doctor said that some of the ones in the very bag we were eating were deadly and I could've been dead within minutes if I had eaten them, but it's hard to tell if he was just trying to scare me or not. There are simple ground rules you should follow regardless. Never mix mushrooms with prescription drugs, especially those for psychological purposes. Always be in the right frame of mind when you're doing them, and be sure to have a buddy to talk to if you get too fried. Just be careful.

  3. Well not that i know from personal experienece, but we'll say i had this friend who took quite a few in high school and through college, graduated with a 3.7 GPA and no evident health effects 10 years later.  But everyone reacts to drugs differently.

  4. The same as ingesting any small amount of poison. If you hallucinate, you are poisoned.

Your body will be sick in some way even if you do not feel ill, and then it will recuperate and be well.

We heal from things quickly. Like a hangover is our body recovering from being poisoned.

  5. If you take them too often it can alter your personality.  I would suggest you take them with someone who is not taking them so they can watch you and not let you get in trouble.  You can do some crazy things when your tripping

  6. Personally I love them, but my heart won't let me take them anymore, and no it wasn't the shrooms that caused my heart problems.

  7. There are no long term negative physiological effects of Psilocybin documented and there is current research available on the web. You should however be prepared for some extreme psychological effects. These things can be potent and change your perception of the world and your identity.

I am a big fan of mushrooms, but I always think researching this type of thing prior to your journey is very prudent.
