What are the effects of climate change?

Just a few degrees rise in the average temperature would start the Polar Ice Caps melting (some believe this is already happening) which in turn would cause the sea levels to rise all over the world. The first thing you'd see is animals that are dependent upon the Polar Caps dying, while the increase in liquid water (as opposed to Ice) would dramatically increase humidity all over the Earth. More humidity = more clouds = less sun etc. etc. Can you see where this is going?
