  1. why not do research ? and loookonlin e

  2. I would set up any thing that emits any kind of magnetic field then put various plants around it and leave device on for at least a week then examine plants externally and with microscope to seen if there are any physical effects. I do not know if any chemicals could be used to discover anything. Hope I gave you some ideas to follow. Good Luck, Marty

  3. Different em radiations may affect the plant growth in different ways. I am discussing here the effect of visible light which ofcourse is em radiation. For furthe details please follow the lins given.

The sun radiates the full spectrum of electromagnetic energy.

Atmosphere acts as a selective window that allows visible light to pass through while screening out a substantial fraction of other radiations. The visible range of light is the radiation that drives photosynthesis.

Blue and red, the two wavelengths most effectively absorbed by chlorophyll, are the colours most useful as energy for the light

    reactions.

Chlorophyll, the main pigment used in photosynthesis, absorbs light in the violet, red and blue wavelengths, leaving the colour we see, green. Green light is reflected by chlorophyll in plants and so green light is not used by plants for growth.

Incandescent bulbs, the regular light bulbs we use in our homes, give off a lot of red light. Plants tend to grow long and leggy under red light.

    Best wishes for your project,
