  1. Being tired is main effect of jet lag, as said before by others  dehydration will cause you to be tired.  I will recommend that you sip water for the duration of your journey.  Also, the walk to and from departure and arrival lounges are long; I recommend that you stay off your feet for as long as possible - long wait on your feet will add to the jet lag experience.

Very often (time) disorientation will occur for a short period.  Travel with 2 watches- one for local time and the other for destination time

  2. "Jet Lag" varies between different individuals. Feeling thirsty may be part of it for some, But it is mostly the change in time that does it to you. When you fly often the effects of "Jet Lag" seem to be toned down quite a bit. Remember it is not natural to be traveling at 82% the speed of sound.

  3. Not thirsty, you probably didnt drink enough water on the trip. THat happens to a lot of people, even when they are driving, you forget to drink...

Jet lag is more of being tired. You just need to get some sleep at the right time in the place you are at, and you will be on schedule!!

    Good luck.

  4. usually just feeling tired.  thirsty may just be a sign of dehydration.

  5. The thirsty part is from sitting on an airplane for all of that time. The air is very dry up in an airplane so that makes you thirsty, that is why people always say to drink juice or water when traveling to keep yourself hydrated. Other than that, jet lag usually makes you tired because your internal clock is different than the actual time.
