What are the effects of pausing Tamagotchi v 4.5s?

For example, does it take longer to age or something? Will the time be the same as it was when you paused it? Will it die? If I go to school without pausing it, will it be dead when I come back? Should I pause it during the school day??

When you pause your tamagotchi v.5 it DOES take longer to age. Yes the time will be the exact same as when you paused it and when you unpause it your tamagotchi will be doing the exact thing it did right before you paused it. No it won't die while its being paused. There's a chance that your tama WILL be dead when  you come back but it might not be. Its hearts might be all the way emty but it might not be dead yet. So I suggest you hurry and fill them! Unless you are going to be checking on it a lot at school, i suggest that you pause it.

Hello, Pausing just makes you miss out on special events, like mail, fortunes, and such. Tamas age by the clock, so as long as that keeps moving it grows...at least as far as I remember, I usually just play..if I am going to be away from it for a few days I take out the batteries and when I get back I just select download and you pick up where you left.

I know you dont get nice characters if you pause to much because i always ended up with a ninja or something ugly, haha.

and the school actually only lasts a few mins...you select school and then hit a and it takes you there where you actually play the games with your tama...thats how you get the intelligence points, by doing good in school or work...
