It just wouldn't work as well as it would when you purchased it, it may work a little., but if you see signs of blurred vision or anything like that stop using it.

If the bottle were never opened or used then the effects of the medicine may be diminished. If the bottle were used at some point then the medicine may no longer be sterile and it must be avoided at all cost. Non sterile meds in the eyes is dangerous and can threaten eyesight in case of infections.
