Called the Godai, they're not specific to ninjutsu. Usually, they're known as chi, sui, ka, fu, and ku. Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and Void respectively. There is some debate between scholars as to whether "Void" is the proper translation, or if "Ku" is read "Sora" -- Sky.

Just to clarify, and so there's no confusion, hoang_nguyen969 is incorrect. The Godai is in the correct order as I've listed above. Please view the attached link to find the a Gorinto, a stone pagoda representing the elements. They are properly viewed from bottom to top (chi, or earth, being the base closest to the ground, and ku being void or sky is at the top).
