What are the emerging issues in corporate downsizing? how will the problem be seen in the coming years

The most emerging issues in corporate downsizing is layoffs mess up the economy with less money being spent.  Also, its easy to get laid off with the economy in the toilet.  The problem will be seen as just a bump in the road, as every generation goes through corporate stumbles.  Hopefully it will just be a speed bump instead of a hole, but on the turn, the economy has ebbed off in the past couple weeks and heading in the right direction.  Did you notice that in 10 days gas prices dropped 14 dollars a barrel? The energy crisis is starting to ebb too...good luck
