What are the energy resources for Sao Paolo, Brazil?

I googled for weather, terrain, photos, and maps of Sao Paulo, and looked at several of them. There was no single web site that I looked at.

It looks like Sao Paulo is situated on a wet plane, with lots of water nearby. Solar and wind power probably wouldn't be very effective, because it's too overcast, and it doesn't appear to be a very windy place. Geothermal doesn't seem very likely, either, but who knows? Hydro power is a possibility. Mapquest showed several good sized bodies of water in the area, possibly reservoirs that could be tapped with hydro dams. -yk
