ok, so i live in scotland and i just got my exam results, i was wondering what is the english GCSE equivelant grade to a Scottish Standard Grade?

for example, in scotland a 1/2 is credit which is the best

3/4 is general which is average

5/6 is foundation which is quite poor

then a 7 is a fail

thanks x*x

  1. A* to F is a pass but C is usaully the benchmark. A* is the best and it goes down to U - unclassified.

    I hope that helped  =S

  2. GCSE grades are

    A* A B C D E F G U

    U is unclassified.

A*-C are generally accepted as passes by employers and allow you onto A level courses.

D E will let you get on some college courses

    F G - not worth having.
