i am from indonesia, so my answer is about the influences by the Dutch in  my country after independence.

1. we still use the law system made by the dutch during the colonial age.

2. many of Indonesian word are from the dutch word ( example : office in indonesia is kantor from the dutch's word kantoor )

3. the dutch architecture (many old dutch building in indonesia are still used as house and office)

4. religion ( spread of Christianity by the dutch and the Portuguese)

5. transportation ( the dutch built roads, and railway)
