Every manufacturer has a top of the line premium ball that is priced right about where ProVs are. Nike Platinum, Bridgestone B330, Calloway HX Tour etc.

Caesar Golf Company makes a dimpleless ball that sells for $10 a ball and is USGA approved.

Taylormade TP red and black, Nike One black and platinum, Callaway iX, Bridgestone B330. There are some others and all of them are about the same price as ProV's.

The expensive ball normally balls with 3 or 4 layers with high compression which is designed for low hdcap or proffesional players.

With this kind of balls, the players should get more distances and better controll around the green.
