  1. peer pressure and lack of things to do. depression can also be a cause. If their parents use drugs it's easy for them to pick up the habit.


  2. Not to be repetitive but peer pressure is definitely a factor in youth drug use  In addition to peer pressure the stress of life may also cause teens to use drugs. In any case, parents need to start getting involved.

  3. television and kids at school and parents who have no time to love them and hug them and teach them anything....they use drugs to fit in with others because they are insecure about themselves and need to be in groups (gangs)..or they learn from watching their parents
