anything fro rs 250 to 1000 depending upon the agent and salary and other calculations. if it is simple filling up of itr copying your form 16 rs 250 is more than sufficient, but if have income from sources other than salaries, the charges can go up.

I am paying Rs. 300/- for filing my return, i.e. for filling up the form, submitting the return and getting acknowledgement.

Normally for salaried persons, the employer establishment arranges for the tax filing and acknowledgement receipt return - on behalf of the employee, free of cost.

Additionally now you fan file the returns online, without form 16.
