  1. call a doctor and make an appontment, they will organise a referal so you can see an obstetrician who will look after your prenatal care!

    congrats =]

  2. Call an OBGYN to setup and appointment.

    Quit smoking, drinking or taking any other drugs.

    Order Parents Magazine

    Buy What to Expect When your Expecting

    After all that's done and you've actually started to read the book you'll be just fine.

    Good Luck!

  3. double check that you are definately pregnant with your doctor and make arrangements to have regular check-ups..if you havent already,then make the decision of whether or not you are going to keep it and how it is going to change your life..the support around you..try talking to your partner,mum or someone close and then if your not already start eating healthily and stop any bad habits like drinking or smoking for both yours and babys sake..and then sit back and relax and enjoy your pregnancy as much as possible!!

    congrats and good luck!!!

    Stop smoking and drinking..  no drugs (illegal, prescription or OTC) unless directed by your doctor.

    start eating healthy.. plenty of dairy and folic acid.

    avoid undercooked and rare meat (risk of toxoplasmosis), no lunchmeat/cold cuts unless you heat it up (risk of listeria sp?)

    If you own a kitty..  no more litter box duty, get someone else to do it!  There's a risk of toxoplasmosis there as well.

  6. If it's unwanted a packet of morning after pills should do the trick.

  7. See the doc and get prenatal vitamins and checkups.

  9. Get to the doctor, and they will test to confirm it. Then you need lots of follow up exams to make sure the baby is growing and is healthy.
