What are the flaws in the punching power measure game?

I went to an arcade with some friends and we did four rounds with two of those games where the punching bag pops down and you punch it as hard as you can so it measures the strength or speed of your punch, I won each round on strength and I know for a fact I am dramatically weaker than them, so how could I have won?
