  1. depends on the type of snake you are talking about...some snakes are so small when they are born that the eat pinky or fuzzy mouse TAILS...not the mouse just the tails.  while other new born "little snakes" are big enough for a hopper mouse.

  2. Pinky mice

  3. mmmm pinki mice aka baby mice i feed my baby ball python 2 pinkis a week

  4. the best i think is frozen mices because live one can injures your snake.

i found this website that tells what size of mice you should give your snake depanding on the weight of your snake.its the chart in about the middle of the page:

Snake weight Mouse Type Mouse weight     Frequency

    4–15 g          Single Pinky         2–3 g                     4-5 days

    16–23 g Double Pinky      2–3 g   times two    4–5 days

    24–30g         Small fuzzies          5–7 g                   5–6 days

    30–50 g Regular fuzzies      7–9 g                  5–6 days

    51–90 g Hoppers                 9–12 g                    5–6 days

    91–170 g      Weaned              14–20 g                 7 days

    170–400 g     Adult                  24–30 g         7 to ? days

    400g+         Jumbo Adults      40–50 g             7 to ? days

    hope it helps!

  5. You gotta be more specific bout the snake types or otherwise we can't give you accurate answers. What do you mean by a little snake? What species is that?

Kingsnake, milksnake, ratsnake will require pinky mice if they're still babies.

The same thing happens to a baby ball python, or baby boa, well depending on the size of the snake. Actually most snakes will consume mammals or reptiles small enough for them to overcome. That's it

Rough green snakes, on the other hand, will eat crickets. They're different from most snakes.

Egg eating snakes will consume strictly eggs. They have rudimentary teeth that can't eat any other food except for eggs. Also the size of the eggs depend on the snakes' body. Baby snakes require small eggs and so on.

    Hope this helps ^^

  6. It depends on what species of snake you have.

Many species accept pinky mice as a food source.

  7. It depends on what kind of snake it is. =)

Some general food items though would be earthworms, pinkie mice (depends on just how small the snake is), slugs, larva, small goldfish, lots of different kinds of bugs, etc.

  8. Depends on the snakes size but probably pinkies fuzzies and hopper mice.

  9. that depends on what snake you have and their age and size but it tipically ranges from ant larvae for blind snakes to pinkies, insects and small lizards like house geckos for pythons, vine snakes and rat snakes.
