What are the foods you can and cannot eat as a vegan?

Just give me examples of what vegans eat....

.... and don't eat. Give me some recipes as well. ^_^

  1. Vegans eat fruits, veggies, nuts, beans/legumes, whole grain, and soy.

    Examples of what we DON'T eat:

    meat (duh)

    dairy

    nothing containing an animal product

    milk chocolate (some dark chocolate actually is vegan)

  3. all animals/birds etc, eggs,cheese,yoghurt,milk,fishes  etc but you can eat plenty of veggies and fruits

  4. As a vegan you cant eat anything from animals which means no meat eggs milk fish or anything produced or made by animals.....you can eat vegatables grains and all that

  5. Vegans can eat-  fruits, veggies.  Things that are grown from the earth.

    Vegans cannot eat- animals, meat, fish, milk, eggs, cheese, some breads (because of the eggs).  All of these foods come from animals. No, No.

  6. I'm a vegan and I abstain from anything from animals or that harms animals:

    -All meats

    -Milk and any food that contains milk or milk derivatives

    -Eggs and any food that contains eggs

    -Cheese and any food that contains cheese

    -Butter and any food that contains butter

    -Animal glutens

    -Gelatin

    -Honey

    -Anything cooked in animal fat, lard, or animal stock

    -Leather goods

    -Fur

    -Natural wool

    -Silk

    -Non-food items that contain any animal products (for instance, a lot of body products contain honey or milk; high-end makeup brushes are often made from goat hair)

    -Products from companies that are known to test on animals

    I also boycott companies that use sweatshops and have unfair labor practices. I care about ALL animals, humans included. ;]

  8. It's pretty simple.  If it's part of an animal, don't eat it.  If it came from an animal, don't eat it.

    so youll be really limited. Youll most likely have to take  vitamins to supplement what your missing from being a vegan

Vegans don't eat meat and fish, any dairy products or eggs.  Also no gelatin.  You have to read ingredients.  There is so much that you can eat.  I have a vegan protein powder so I can supplement my diet with extra protein.  I love beans and chili, nuts, seeds, grains, pasta, breads,.  There are so many things that vegans can eat.  Just go online or buy a book on veganism.  You can eat anything that does have meat, fish, dairy, eggs, or gelatin.
