I have a really good contractor style tablesaw. Then I have a handheld jigsaw and a 5' orbital sander a good router table and a few good clamps and a good handheld drill. I am interested in a jointer a planer, drill press, mortiseing machine and everything else but I dont know what would be the next powertool to get, I was thinking the jointer but I am not sure. I am going to be building heavy topped desks and book shelves .

  1. idk

  2. I know that a planer or thickneser is very handy to have. I used the thickneser the most or everything because you always need to get the thickness correct. Then the table saw which you have and then the other very useful tool is a belt sander, those orbital ones doesn't work as well as my arm and good sanding paper. We had a belt sander behind an adjustable bed. The morticing machine is a waste of time because with a drill press hand drill and chisels you can do the same job. Drill press next. A jointer I am not sure about we had industrial finger jointers.
