  1. I think you have sked 2 different questions in one. Producers are the green plants from the forests. I cannot figure out 4 main producers.

    Adaptation is the strutural or functional change in the organism to survive in the habitat. There are many examples for this in plants and animals.  It will be a long answer to explain this.


  2. I agree with the other poster's answers. To add to the first question, it would be almost impossible to answer it with any confidence. That's because any given rain forest literally has thousands of plant species, especially angiosperms but also the odd moss, fern, and gymnosperm. The list of species changes fairly dramatically from one rain forest to another, especially if one moves between continents. Trees, especially emergent and canopy ones, are the largest on an individual basis, but then they are likely vastly outnumbered by herbs, shrubs, lianas, vines, etc. The diversity of form and type is mind blowing, which I think is rarely appreciated by non-specialists.
