  1. penalty try.

reaching for the try line without actually being over it.

touching the bottom of the posts with the ball.

    there are only 3 ways.

  2. number four is the easiest one!

On the line is a try.

Don't need to cross it - just get some chalk on the ball and it's 5 points.

Oh! yeah, true true hawkeye . . . and you do seem to have 4 ways.

Here's a rather cynical attempt at four:

    Penalty

    Base of the post

    On the line

And . . . being wrongly award a try without crossing the line !

  3. i don't know i don't like rugby

  4. penalty try

being tackled short of the line but reaching over

putting the ball on the line

and whoever said i dont know i dont like rugby why the h**l did u answer you bell end

  5. Four ways to score a try without crossing the tryline... not sure really.

A penalty try is the obvious one.  I know you can force the ball against the base of the goal post or pad on the post which could be another.

I also know that you can actually be outside the field of play (over the sideline, in goal) and if the ball is sitting in the in goal area, you can reach in and force it down for a try... YES despite being out!!!

The fourth way has got me... I can only guess that you would force the ball on the goal line or reach into the end zone with the ball... but that seems too obvious.  If anyone else knows a way, I'd be keen to know too!

    ***edit***

Damian, if you read my post again, I already said that.

James Kirky, if there is only three... how do I have four?

  6. A penalty try is one.
