What are the fundamental differences between Western philosophies and Native North American ways of knowing? ?

  1. Western or Christian philosophies take their inspiration from the concept of  monotheism (one God). However, Native American  are pantheistic, which means  they worship more than one God or Higher Power. A dedicated Christian might have trouble believing signs or omens in their environment. This is the most  common difference between the   thought process of the  native North Americans and the Westerners.
