When dealing with this type of question, you have to remember that the individual is only going to give their offspring one copy of each type of gene.  In this case you have the gene that is designated by the letter A and the gene that is designated by the letter S.  You just have to find the possible combinations of A and S that are possible.

    So they could pass the A with the first little s = As

    The A with the second little s = As

    The little a with the first little s = as

    The little a with the second little s = as

    In this case, you only get two combinations As and as...however it can differ depending on the genes you are given so don't think this is the same every time!
