  1. lack of investment in machinery...leading to poorer quality garments being produced as compared to the Chinese or far east competition...this is the direct result of our black market and tax avoidance attitudes...eg...assets worth 5 lakhs are shown as only 1 lakh...so even 100% govt subsidy to import new machinary based upon assets is not enough to buy new plants.....this applies across the board in indian industry....long live corruption and selfishness attitudes!
