3.7853 litres  x  7.23 pesos =  27.37 pesos per gallon US.

the exchange rate right now  for dollars in average is

10.34 Pesos = 1 US Dollar

So  27.37pesos is equivalent to  $2.65usd

Ok but its subsidise that means that part of the price of Gasoline is pay by the Mexican Goverment.

Around $2.75 a gallon which is proving to be cost effective for drivers of larger SUV's and pickups to drive across the border and fill up.  Of course, you should have Mexican insurance on your vehicle and you have to include this in the costs. Still, if one lives close enough to the border it wouldn't take long to be on the plus side.

Big Bubba gave the correct conversion formula and the right answer.  The last time I did the conversion was about two weeks ago, and the price was equivalent to $2.65 U.S. per gallon.
