We have an project on the myths from Northen Europe. What were the importance of geographic situations to Norse gods?

Thursday is named after Thor; Wednesday after Woden (saxon version of Odin)and Friday after Odin's wife Frigga (NOT Freyja as some state.)

Midgard or Middle-Earth was the land of men; Asgard was the home of the gods; and there were many other mystical kingdoms such as Muspelheim,Vanaheim, Niflheim, Jotungard land of the giants and Alfheim,home of the elves. Hel was their norse h**l, and ruled by Queen Hela whose face was fair on one side,but a corpse on the other.
