What are the gold spot on a red ear slider turtle?

gold? Can you get pictures?  Where is the gold?

I have heard of siler looking scutes or shell pieces. Its like there is water under the translucent scute and its just a reflection from water.

This may be shell rot- I would have to see photos to be certain.

Shell rot is a treatable fungal infection that results from being kept in dirty water and/or not basking.
