  1. there is nothing good about global warming.

  2. ONCE AGAIN....

Global Warming MEANS "World Wide Warming!" It is ONLY A Political Term = NOT based in Real Science!

The EARTH is covered by "Three Quarters WATER!" Basic Science, it takes ONE-Btu to raise One Cubic Centimeter ONE Degree Centigrade!

HOW many "Gazillion Cubic Centimeters are there ONLY on the Surface of Planet Earth COVERED by 3/4 Water?"

HOW many Btu's would it take TO RAISE THE SURFACE TEMPERATURE ONE DEGREE?

    DO THE MATH!

And, were are the Million TEMPERATURE MEASURING SITES on the Many Oceans THAT TELL US THAT THE OCEAN TEMPERATURES ARE RISING? Not!

Oh yes, POLAR temperatures have varied LESS Than one degree in the past 100-Years. Noticed I said VARIED, = NOT RISEN!

    Thanks, RR

  3. less cold and more warmth.

People will be going to beach all year like they do in Southern California and Florida.

  4. That it's a liberal myth.  Doesn't exist.

  5. Good Question. This might be the next battleground issue for conservatives. haha

One definate advantage of global warming will be less icy road conditions, which are responsible for thousands of deaths and injuries every year in the United States. Snow days would cancel less days of school, make fewer cancellations at airports.

The temperature change according to Al Gore's Inconvienant truth are more extreme in northern environments, making more of the United States available to crops and for longer periods of time.

Here is an interesting site stating health costs and deaths in America would decrease due to a moderate increase in temperature. http://www.stanford.edu/~moore/health.ht...

  6. It will become easier to drill for oil at the poles.

  7. All manner of plant and animal life florish during warm periods. You only have to consider the rainforest and the enormous diversity of life that exists there, and compare it to some frozen trundra. If you're a green, you should acutally love global warming, and disregard the idiotic politics that surround it. Its part of a natural cycle of warming and cooling that has taken place many times before, and the ture science says we have little or nothing to do with it.

  8. NOTHING.  we wouldn't be in this mess if it weren't for george bush!! FOO-EE

  9. The end of the ice-age  forced us to adapt to it and we did. We got civilized and conquered the hole world. Now we have global-warming,  that will make does who survive a new start and an new era in human history. Maybe we will learn of our misstakes in the past.

  10. This is what I answered another person:

The globe is warming, but weather we caused it or not is up to your descretion.

I am a geographer, and have found many, many errors with Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth."

What strikes me the most is that global warming was declared after one of the coldest recorded winters, and three days after Phoenix (my hometown) got snow for the first time. Also, the people who are declaring it were declaring an ice age 30 years ago. Along with that, Al Gore's graphs are not real. There are many websites that prove it. How he was able to win awards on something of false information and propaganda is beyond me. There are over 30 counted errors, but there are 25 big ones in the movie. Please watch it to get an idea of what that side of the arguement sees, but also read this article on it: http://www.cei.org/utils/printer.cfm?aid...

It has all the errors, including false records and data. (Also, the whole movie was about Al Gore. It seemed almost pathetic the way he made it, as if he wanted the world to feel sorry he didn't become president.)

Don't get me wrong, I do think the earth is going into a warm stage, but based on my reasearch, people have little to nothing to do with it. I do think that people have hurt the environment a lot, but to declare global warming is over the top.

Once you do some reaseach and view what both sides say, you can make your own decision.
